SCHOOL PROGRAMMES

Woodland Classroom

Enriching the Curriculum for Excellence through Outdoor Learning with our Woodland Classroom Programme.

Our six week Woodland Classroom programmes turn our local forests into outdoor classrooms and natural playgrounds. Using Scotland’s inspirational woodland environments for children to learn and play, our programme provides practical hands-on activities to capture interest and stimulate learning, whatever the weather!

Active outdoor experiences and games encourage children to enjoy healthy outdoor play. Children increase their understanding of the world around them and the impact we have upon it.

We also have packaged half day Woodland Classrooms individual sessions. For more information click here.

Growing Wild and Well

For secondary pupils we offer an 8 week programme. On this programme they may complete either the Saltire Award or take an accredited course. Our Bushcraft Conservation and Leadership course is recommended for this age group.

This programme offers an exciting way for young people to connect with the natural world. Through practical hands-on activities, they acquire the skills and confidence to enjoy spending time in Scotland’s outdoors. They also gain a greater awareness about the environment, their community and skills outside of the traditional classroom.
