The Princess of Wales marked her 44th birthday last week by sharing a personal video reflecting on the healing power of nature and the changing seasons – an ethos closely echoed by us.
“Even in the coldest, darkest season, winter has a way of bringing us stillness, patience and quiet consideration,” Catherine says.
The film is the final chapter in a four-part series in which she has spoken openly about the role nature has played in her recovery following cancer treatment. Throughout the series, she returns to the idea of nature as both refuge and teacher – principles that sit at the heart of Wild Things’ work in helping people find healing, confidence and connection outdoors.
Appearing wrapped in a coat and hat against stark winter landscapes, she adds: “To be at one with nature, a quiet teacher and a soft voice that guides… helping us to heal.”
