Growing Well and Wild with Lossiemouth High School

Our recent Growing Well and Wild sessions with pupils from Lossiemouth High School were an incredible mix of learning, laughter, and outdoor adventure!

Over the course of eight weeks, students explored local wild places, deepened their connection with nature, and built confidence through hands-on experiences.

To celebrate the final session, Wild Things Fieldwork Manager Paul Kendall led the group on a walk to the top of Bin Cullen, where they were rewarded with stunning blue-sky views across the autumn landscape.

The adventure continued with grey seal watching at Port Gordon, followed by a visit to Loch Spynie, where the group enjoyed spotting waterfowl, red squirrels, and even an otter from the bird hide.

It was a wonderful way to wrap up the project — a celebration of curiosity, wellbeing, and the wild places right on our doorstep.
