Wild Things is delighted to support Moray Council and local keyworkers through the Summer Hubs provision for the children of keyworkers.

We have developed a fun filled programme of nature themed games and activities designed to increase their understanding and appreciation of nature. Our summer hub sessions are packed with crafts, games, nature-art as well as naturalist skills including plants and trees, animals and animal tracking, birds, and invertebrates (bugs).

Since we cannot currently go into care homes, we have developed a remote delivery packages for older adults across Moray and the Highlands, bringing nature experiences directly to the residents of care homes. Our nature themed activity packs will arrive each week, providing the residents with a wide array of nature-themed crafts including making wood cookie coasters, flower pressing, seed planting, building bird feeders, creating bug hotels, producing nature dairies, and fashioning lavender bags.

All the materials for each activity will be included, along with an instructional videos and themed nature guides which provide a step by step guide on what to do as well as lots of inspiration and fascinating facts for care home staff to share during their sessions.
