Level 3 Award in Education and Training (AET)
This 4 day teaching qualification replaces the Level 3 Award in Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector (PTLLS). The course covers the basics of teaching in adult education and includes how to plan lessons, motivate learners and use of a variety of teaching methods. The Award in Education and Training is a first step towards becoming an official practitioner.
There are no formal entry requirements for this training course, but candidates must have a qualification or experience in the subject they wish to teach. This could range from a formal qualification to experience in the workplace or as a volunteer.
