Tattie Holiday Fun

Our Tattie Holiday Activity Days were a fantastic celebration of autumn, adventure, and the joy of being outdoors! Over the course of the holidays, Wild Things welcomed children and families to take part in fun-filled days of woodland games, nature crafts, and wildlife discovery.

Our fieldwork team have been out and about across Moray delivering Tattie holiday adventures for 5–9-year-olds and running activity days for partners, such as Quarriers Support Care Service.
We headed to Oakwood in Elgin last week to step back in time – learning how people survived in the past, practicing foraging and plant ID, crafting leather pouches and building hammocks!

We’re so grateful to everyone who joined us and helped make this year’s Tattie Holiday programme such a success. It was wonderful to see so many young people discovering the magic of the outdoors- many for the very first time!

Thank you to all the families, volunteers, and supporters who make these adventures possible. We can’t wait to welcome you back for our next Wild Things events soon.
