Wild Foods

Join us for a fascinating and enjoyable day learning all about our local Wild Foods. Discover the wonderful world of wild foods as we do some fun foraging in the forest.

Autumn is a great time to get out the basket and harvest some lovely wild edibles as fungi, nuts and fruit are in abundance. However, how are you going to do this sustainably, with certainty that you are identifying your plants correctly or with the knowledge that they are safe to eat?

Join our Wild things! foraging experts to find out the answers to all these questions. We will also enjoy a wee wild feast under the canopy of our local native woodland.

Wild things! provide all necessary equipment, tools, and learning resources.

Instruction and supervision is provided by our qualified and experienced Wild things! activity leaders.  Emergency Transport (4-wheel drive vehicle) is always available for outdoor activities. This event is for adults aged 16 years and over.
