Beginner’s Bushcraft for Educators

This one-day bushcraft course is the perfect first step on your journey into the fascinating world of bushcraft and traditional living skills. We have developed this course to provide an introduction to the tools, techniques and skills required to incorporate bushcraft into your outdoor sessions. It is a great course for teachers, and educators who wish to learn some new skills.

This is your chance to spend a day learning to use tools, build fires, make shelters, and put up tarps with our experienced Wild Things instructors. This is for anyone who enjoys taking part in outdoor activities, or is keen to gain some new transferable skills in order to improve a group’s comfort and experience outdoors.

Bushcraft is all about working with the natural environment, and using materials which have been gathered in a safe and sustainable way. No previous experience of bushcraft activities is required, just bring a love and enthusiasm for learning outdoors (and your packed lunch!).

The course runs from 9:30am until 3:30pm.
