We are able to offer Wilderness Skills and Bushcraft programmes for local secondary schools, in Moray, the Cairngorms, Aberdeenshire and the Highlands. Environmental education activities and learning bushcraft skills are proven ways to build life skills. Increased access to time outdoors can also serve to improve mental and physical wellbeing.
Our programmes are aimed at children of all abilities and are particularly beneficial for those who learn best through physical activity and also those who struggle in mainstream education. Our secondary programmes range from single day activity sessions, to short residential camps, to multi week block courses, where the young people involved have the opportunity to work towards nationally recognised qualifications.
“Green exercise, outdoor activity and environmental volunteering improve young people’s wellbeing and personal responsibility as well as maximising employment chances.”
